3D reinforcement models are easier to understand than classical reinforcement drawings.In cooperation with Schnetzer Puskas Ingenieure AG and Erne Bauunternehmung AG,SOFiSTiK has extended its Reinforcement (RC) application. The 3D reinforcement model – enhanced with additional information – can now be sent digitally to the construction site in IFC format without the need to generate 2D reinforcement drawings. Design in the engineering office becomes more efficient and transparent, while the construction company improves the quality.
